Aloe vera gel is a staple in my skincare/makeup bag at all times. It saved my skin countless times and, even though I have aloe vera plants at home, I always have a jar of aloe vera gel on hand. I bought this gel to replace my Missha Premium Aloe Soothing Gel that I reviewed earlier and, low and behold, liked this one even more.Continue reading “MISSHA Premium Cica Aloe Soothing Gel Review & Ingredients”

Golden Oldie: e.l.f. Mad For Matte Palette. When Nostalgia Hits. My favorite all-matte eyeshadow palette that I just can’t get myself to throw away.
I sometimes go through my makeup boxes and drawers to declutter what I no longer use and when it comes to this palette, I know for sure I wouldn’t dare to throw it away. I don’t do full eyeshadow looks that often (my go-to is just bronzer in the crease), but when I do, I always reach for this palette. It’s got basically all matte eyeshadow colors I need, from very light peachy color to black. I’ve decided to dedicate a post to this beautiful little guy – one of the most valued makeup items I have.Continue reading “Golden Oldie: e.l.f. Mad For Matte Palette Review”

NATURE REPUBLIC Soothing & Moisture ALOE VERA Foam Cleanser Review and Ingredient Analysis. Review on dry and combination skin
The K-beauty aloe vera series continues! Today it’s finally the time to share my thoughts on the Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera Foam Cleanser. The ingredients are interesting in this product, so I decided to break them down the same way as I did in my Missha aloe vera gel review and Nature Republic aloe mist review. Let’s start!Continue reading “NATURE REPUBLIC Soothing & Moisture ALOE VERA Foam Cleanser Review & Ingredient Analysis”
Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review. Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist full ingredient list review
Time to review another aloe vera product, this time the Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist. Mists and sprays can be an excellent addition to the skincare routine and help maintain the skin moisturized and nourished throughout the day. This specific product has helped me a lot during the colder months because heating makes the air very dry and the skin requires more care apart from morning and evening skincare routine. My skin is combination and very sensitive, so I often use aloe vera-based products, such as Missha Aloe Gel I’ve posted about recently. I also will talk in-depth about all the ingredients of this product to make sure that it doesn’t contain anything that can potentially dry or irritate the skin. Let’s start the review!Continue reading “Nature Republic Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel Mist Review & Ingredients”
MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel Review After 8 Months of Use on sensitive skin. Full review of MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel ingredients and description for each ingredient
***This gel has another variation – MISSHA Premium Cica Aloe Soothing Gel, full review for it here.
I love aloe vera – both the plant and as ingredient in skincare products. I’ve used the juice of aloe vera plant to cure everything from tiny wounds to skin rashes and chemical burns. In my experience, there’s just nothing better for my skin than the real aloe vera plant juice. However, I currently don’t have the plant at home and when I did have it, I needed a whole leaf for only few days of use on a small area. This means that I’d have to chop aloe vera plant regularly to use it as skincare product. This is why I turned to Korean aloe vera gels – they are convenient to use and often contain additional ingredients that are good for skin.
I’ve tried many of them, including Nature Republic, Holika Holika, and the SAEM, but this post is about the gel I’m currently using and have been using for the past 8 months – MISSHA Premium Aloe Soothing Gel. My skin type is sensitive and I’m very prone to different irritations & allergies. This gel is 95% aloe vera leaf juice, but what about the other 5%? In this post I’ve analyzed ALL ingredients of this gel, so you’ll know for sure whether it’s safe or not. Let’s start!
