Tip Tuesday #15: Clean eyeshadow palettes in one swipe

How to clean eyeshadow palette from the eyeshadow residue and dust? Very easy!

Hello and welcome! I’m currently in the process of moving, so I thought I’d share this awesome lifehack about how to easily clean eyeshadow palettes.

I’ve had all kinds of eyeshadow palettes, and one thing is true for all of them: they gets dirty. Technically, it’s just the eyeshadow dust, but still it makes the palette look messy.

Here’s how I get them cleaned in one swipe: I wrap a makeup wipe on a smooth brush handle and swipe it across the palette. The eyeshadows are usually a bit lower in the pans than the palette itself, so the wipe gathers the dust, but the eyeshadows remain intact. Depending on the size of your eyeshadow palette you can use anything as your tool, the most important it that this object needs to have a flat surface. I once wrapped the wipe over the bottom of a glass and it worked just as well.

I hope you enjoyed this week’s #TipTuesday!
