These things aren’t that much ‘in your face’ but they will surely ruin the harmony of even the most beautiful look. Let’s start!
1. Shabby belt. I have several favorite belts that I just can’t let go of. They fit me perfectly and have been with me so a few years already. Today I bought new pants and tried them on with one of these belts. Let me tell you, it immediately looked bad altogether simply because of the shabby belt. So the best thing is to replace belts when due or buy them in bulk if you feel like you like some belts especially much.
2.Wrinkled clothing. Wrinkled take a good outfit from a 100 to 0. If you dislike ironing, then you might like a hand-held steamer.
3.Not so good color combinations in the outfit. As a rule, the best and easiest color cominations in clothing include up to 3 colors. If you don’t feel that confident in mixing colors in your outfit, combine up to 3 colors (different shades of one color can be considered as one color). If you know color analysis, then this task becomes even easier for you because you already know the palette that suits you well!
4.Over accessorizing. Accessories add the spirit to any outfit, reflect your sense of humor and style, and help you demonstrate your taste and personality. At the same time, too much of a good thing is a bad thing. That’s not to say that you should feel limited in your accessories! Instead, think about how they reflect your sense of style. If you want a foolproof tip, then just go simple. Your bag, necklace, bracelets, and several rings will do the trick and won’t distract from your face and personality.
5.Too matchy-matchy. Matching belt, bag, shoes, and gloves might look like you’re trying too hard and create a vibe of stiffness. Don’t limit yourself by trying to match elements of your outfits all the time – use your chance to demonstrate your creativity!
6.Shabby bag. A bad is one of the things that make or break the whole look. If your bag is already shabby, discolored in some places, and the threads are sticking out, then it’s time to say goodbye to it and replace it. I always have a favorite bag and each time it’s a bit sad to replace it, but it just makes such a huge difference that it’s worth it.
7.Seasonal fashion items. Do you remember bandage dress? Or Balenciaga Triple S shoes? These were trends that are long gone for a reason – they were there just to get short-term profits for the companies, everyone bought them, then everyone got tired of them, and now they look completely obsolete. Better opt for things that don’t go out of fashion if you want more value for your money.
